I ordered two day shipping, but the tent was on my doorstep in less than 24 hours! I had my brother time me and it only took me 2 minutes to set this tent up, stakes and rainfly included. There was a little condensation on the inside of the tent in the morning, but that is every tent. It rained all night one night, a light rain, not a monsoon or thunderstorm-type rain, and there were no leaks, and no water inside the tent. Don't know how it would hold up in more extreme rain. Great tent for the price.

This tent has the same floor space as a coleman, but not the headspace. It is a bit shorter and come to a point quicker. This is not a tent that you would want to test mother nature in. But is works just fine for summer camping. One thing I have always noticed about tents, if you want to fit three people, get a four person tent. I would always buy on size bigger. My three kids fit into this four person tent just right. I mean, you could cram four sleeping bags in but thats not nearly as comfortable. I would say buy a coleman, but this is not a bad tent.

I just got back from a 5 day camping trip up in Cairo NY and my girl friend and I used this tent which I just ordered from amazon. It took about 8 min to set up, it is a decent size for two may be 3 people but not for 4. I wouldn't want to be crammed with 4 people in this tent unless it was 20 degrees and I needed the warmth. I also changed the steaks out for better ones because it had those metal peg stakes which cut threw the ground when pressure is applyed to them.other than that its a great tent and held up great for a five day trip with two people and about 100 pounds of cloths and gear, and it only took me about 5 min to take it down and rolled it up. The only one complaint is this tent does not come with a bag for the tent, so a garbage bad is what I'm using for now

Wow. Bought this because I am traveling abroad for a few months, and plan on living out of the ol backpack. The backpacker's guitar was a logical choice. Looks pretty weird and impossible to play without a strap. However, once you get past the awkwardness, this actually feels like a martin. While the action is a little high, the fret board feels like the martin guitars I only get to touch in the stores!! Sound is also nice, all things considered. It has a banjo-like twang, which can be odd at first, but played by the campfire the other night, and I think it added to the folky type sing along music. The best part of the Martin Backpacker is the fact that it is like a toy. I really can't put it down. I have a law exam tomorrow , and i have played for hours rather than study ... and I dont care!!

This guitar is really cool. It sounds pretty good for the size. It tends to be a little off though, so you will have to re-tune it often. I brought it on a backpacking trip and it was really refreshing to have some music in the middle of the wilderness. All you have to do is strap it to the outside of your pack, and you're good to go! That's why I love this little guitar: it's so easy to travel with and it's great to have in the back country. It probably doesn't deserve the full 5 stars, but it's so unique and handy, I just had to give it to 'em.

Because I travel so much through the mountains of the Pacific Northwest for my job, I figured I'd better purchase some type of emergency or disaster "kit"... just in case I get stranded due to inclement weather.

After much time spent researching similar kits, I opted for the Mayday 4-Person Deluxe Emergency Backpack Kit even though I'm only one-quarter that many people. Heh. The kit shipped extremly fast and I am rather pleased with the actual product. I have, though, made a few adjustments due to how I will be using the kit -- mainly as an "emergency car" backpack I can quickly grab before my out-of-town excursions.

I was in the emergency food storage business for several years so I'm able to evaluate the quality of this survival kit. It has virtually everything needed in an emergency situation. It is well packaged and comes in a high quality backpack. Just grab it and run. The only possible shortcoming is the volume of food and water. It would be hard for four people to get by on, but it could be done in an emergency. And after all, that's what its for. I definitely recommend this kit.

I am 4'10" with a 14" torso length and this pack is in proportion to me instead of gigantic. It goes great with the 3L hydration pack made by Osprey, and by buying lightweight/packable gear and putting my tent in a compression sack I got the full complement of backpacking gear (tent, mummy bag, mummy bag liner, raingear, blow-up air sleeping pad, stove, down camp booties, extra clothes, food, water bottles, tent hammer, etc) all inside it despite its relatively small size. It feels more comfortable than it looks. I don't know that the waistband would work for people with waists smaller than 24". Great pocket system and it has a pull-out rainflap (red) that's attached.

Fantastic pack!
I bought this backpack for a hiking trip in Peru (Inca Trail). I'm 5'7 and have a 18" torso and I ordered the S/M size.

Size:
I tried on MANY different packs and this was by far the most comfortable in the 46L range. I wanted to be able to carry it on the plane to avoid checking it. I was able to get my boots (didn't want to wear these on the plane) plus 8 days worth of clothing, down/poly fill mummy bag (in a 16L compression bag), toiletries, 3L bladder (I have a cheap Coleman bladder that worked just as well as my friends expensive one), rain gear, and other misc. trekking gear and I still had extra space (self-inflating sleep pad got strapped to the outside). I was able to carry it on all my flights except 1 LAN flight from Lima to Cusco (the flight was full)! It actually fit in the overhead bin without turning it sideways- the flight attendants were thrilled that it took up such little space.

I can't believe the price on this awesome pack. Plenty of pockets for easy stowing and room for everything you need for a day trip. The zippers are smooth with good quality handles to grab. I was scrambling all over rocks and the straps kept everything nice and secure.

This item was fairly good except for the fact that I did not receive all the items that were stated in the ad. Items such as yellow cover to the backpack, waterproof document/cash bag,leather working gloves and the compass is the same compass you get in a bubble gum machine or cheaper, also it doesn't work. I guess i'll have to go to a camping store to try to get a real one and dispose of that one properly, also no signaling mirror and the color yellow makes you look like an EMS or EMT specialist but, thats o.k. It's basically used for situations where you're stuck at work from blizzards and deciding to try to walk home, light flooding and camping trips like scouting. DO NOT DEPEND on this item for any thing larger: terrorist attacks, weather disasters: flooding, explosions, hurricanes/tornadoes, and any life threatening accidents otherwise it's o.k. i'll give it a c- grade.

I have found it best to have several manageable size backpacks, like this one, instead of one huge family size bag. They should be stored in your car for use where ever you may find yourself. I bought two of these -- one for my husband and one for myself. We tested them over the weekend at about 25 degrees. We were warm enough to sleep okay. For people who hate cold weather, I would probably suggest something for colder temperatures if you're going to be exposed to anything below 40. We live in the North, so we're getting used to cold weather. We felt cool but not uncomfortable.

The best part about these are the compression bags. They work GREAT! It took me two minutes per sleeping bag to get the bag rolled up and back in its compression bag. That was great. And they do feel very light.

We bought these to do some cold weather camping in the mountains in late February. Temperatures went to the mid 20s and we were plenty warm. They seem fairly durable. Good alternative to a mummy bag
If you feel claustrophobic in a mummy style sleeping bag but still want something fairly small and easily packed, this is the way to go. I haven't actually used it outside yet, but the size of it is okay and I believe it will fit in the sleeping bag compartment of my backpack. The compression bag is nice and if you put it on the floor and crunch it down with your knee, you can get it down to a pretty small size.

So I got a Red Powerbag deluxe earlier this year. This is hands down the best bag I own. I work on the road 2-3 days each week. Using this bag allows me to charge any of my portable electronics. Since I got the bag I no longer need to use the extended battery for Droid Incredible. I can leave the slim battery pack my cell phone and just plug into the bag when my battery runs low. It will fully charge my phone in about 30 minutes. The bag can also charge my iPad and iPod. I have even used it in a hotel room as my full charging station with the bag plugged into the wall overnight I did not have to bring my charging cords. Just used the bag as my port for 3 devices and when I got up in the morning everything is recharged including the battery pack in the bag.

Well, not as great as I first thought
I bought two of these back packs - a black one for myself and a red one for my wife. These backpacks are constructed very well. The backpack isn't the biggest backpack I have ever owned. I fit my iPad and a Nikon D200 in the backpack and I still had extra room. I haven't charged enough devices yet to rate the performance. I did however need to charge my iPhone which was almost dead. The backpack charged the phone and still showed 3 bars. I am going on a trip to Israel soon, so I will give a report on how well the backpack did when I return. For now, I am very pleased with the backpack.

Update - I had to send one of the backpacks back because the charging port cover just decided to pop off one day. I had hardly used the backpack. It was charging my iPhone nad iPad fine. I called the company to see if they had replacements for the charging cover and they said it was not an item they had in inventory, so I was forced to send the backpack back.

This backpack is a mediocre design. Its one big selling point is that it includes internal wiring for your mobile devices.

The backpack's description highlights that the internal battery is rated at 6000mah. This is disputed by the fact that the actual rating of the included battery is 22.2Wh at a voltage of 7.4V, which equates to 3000mah. This seems to be the norm from the manufacturer, as they rate their biggest battery available for these backpack systems at 9000mah, yet that battery shows a rating of 33.3Wh at a voltage of 7.4V, or 4500mah. I don't understand how the company can make these mah claims when their batteries clearly show a different listed value.

Which brings me to the point of my review. I bought this backpack to power my Clear 4G modem during the day. Previously, I used an external battery pack rated at 6600mah that would allow my Clear 4G modem to last me all day and only necessitated overnight charging before the next full day of use...

I tried this pack out for my first backpacking trip in the San Jacinto Mountains, California. It fit really well and kept the weight off my shoulders and distributed it to my hips, as advertised. This was just big enough for my sleeping bag, mat, bag of clothes, food, and general hiking supplies. The tent strapped to the outside easily. If you pack carefully, it will fit the smallest bear box inside too. This pack will work well for up to 3 nights (just not enough room to carry more food, unless you strap more pieces to the outside of the pack). Totally recommended.

The Exos pack is awesome. It has just enough padding on the hip belt to create comfort - provided you are an ultralight weight hiker. The straps are minimal as are the buckles - exactly what you would expect from an ultralight weight product. But - they are sturdy. I'm no easy on equipment and I haven't been "easy" on this pack but it has held up well. Plus - you won't find one lighter. Easy access to everything. Perfect pockets for that stuff you just have to stash. It's a very nice pack. I use the 34 as a daypack - particularly for extremely cold winer outings. I have all three sizes of this pack.

This bag has been with me across two continents, in freezing mountain conditions and in the fiery desert. It is ultralight, holds a good amount of gear, and is very functional. Amazing Lightweight Pack!
The Exos 34 is the smallest member of Osprey's Exos lightweight pack series. I purchased this pack to use on an 11-day hike around Mont Blanc, where we would be spending some nights in mountain refuges. So I would not be needing to carry full overnight gear, but a few more items than I would need for just day hiking.

I found this pack perfect for that trip. I was attracted to the light weight, yet it was sturdy enough that it suffered no noticeable wear. The suspension was very comfortable with the 15 or 20 lb load I was carrying--including DSLR camera and enough extra clothing for September in the Alps.

I had seen the Exos 58 in a store but was not able to find the "34". So I bought the 34 from Amazon `sight unseen'. Most Underlined Buyer Review : Overrated, very poor build quality
I was excited to get this backpack for my boyfriend for our Africa camping trip. The backpack had a nice design and he loved it at first. The problem was the cheap build quality. The seams came loose in three different places and the buckle of one of the straps just broke completely after 2 months use. While it seems like a great idea and it looks nice, it feel apart WAY to easy. Super cheaply built. Save your money!!!

I am 5'4 female and small size fits me fairly well. I love pack design and color but one thing I want to have is a bottle holder on the side. But other than that, I am happy with price, design, size and color. I can pack rain gear, banner, tharmo mattress, sleeping back, sleeping back cover, changes, food, everything I need for 1 day or 2 days hike but tent. There is plenty of space to pack.

Not the lightest but sure is comfy!
Pros:
Superbly Comfortable
So many different options in how to load it
Holds a lot of stuff for the size
Plenty of pockets - like the two hip belt pockets, side stash on the right side (fits sunglasses in case + headlamp with a bit to spare)

Cons:
Heavy for a bag of it's size. It's just under 3 LBs on my scale. The osprey hornet 46L is about a pound and a half.
So many straps
Material seems to stain easily - I got a few black markings on it from TSA security
The bottle holders don't really stretch so when fully loaded it seems tough to get anything in there but it still works somehow. I use vapur bottles, so they're flexibility might have something to do with it.

Other thoughts:
The backpack, as any other backpack, should be tried on before buying it. For me, the size medium fits perfectly. I've packed over 20 LBs in it and it still didn't get that heavy feel to it. I can easily pack food, pajamas, cooking gear, tent,...
